On behalf of the men and women of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, I would like to welcome you to our website. I hope that you find the contents informative and useful. As your Morgan County Sheriff it is my firm commitment to be responsive to the needs of the community we serve by protecting and enhancing the quality of life in our community, enforcing the law, preserving the peace, preventing crime, and providing educational information while still protecting the constitutional rights of those we serve.
The Administration Division handles the service of civil processes, including evictions, protection orders, and civil standby. Additionally, the Division manages sex offender information, including the registry and offender map, as well as concealed carry permit information and Colorado gun laws.
The Operations Division oversees police patrols, VIN inspections, investigations, reserve deputies, the cadet program, posse deputies, and victim assistance, which provides 24/7 support to all crime victims under the Victims Rights Amendment.
The Detention Division manages inmate information and oversees bond posting procedures. Additionally, the division handles inmate mail and supervises the processes for adding money to the commissary system and the phone system, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
