The Morgan County Ambulance Service crews provide on-scene Advanced Life Support care for an area of 1,296 square miles of Morgan County. In addition they provide pre-hospital services for parts of Weld County, Logan County, Washington County, Adams County and/or an additional 1,300 square miles. MCAS responds on average to eightcalls per day, including 9-1-1 and hospital transfers.
Morgan County early warning alert system sends emergency notifications by phone, email and text to keep community members and subscribers informed of events such as evacuation notices, utility outages, water main breaks, floods and hazardous materials spills.
The Morgan County Emergency Management Department is responsible for providing coordination of elected offices, county departments and emergency response agencies in preparedness, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery to emergencies and disasters.
